“September” is a drama based on true events that tells the love story of a father and daughter who embark on a journey of struggle for survival in one of the most difficult times of Guatemala’s internal armed conflict. Theresa was deafened at the age of 3 months and lost her mother in the midst of a terrorist attack perpetrated by guerrillas on September 5, 1980.

The screening is supported by the Embassy of Guatemala in Sweden (concurrent for Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Norway).

The film is in Spanish with subtitles in English.
