It is laid out as a realistic film, with a screenplay based on the stories of hundreds of women that are forced to choose between their children and their mate in order to sustain their families. Two women become pregnant by the same man, and they have to decide what to do with their newborn children. This is the story of Cheba and Serafina who, by abandoning their children get sick with tirisia, a perpetual sadness.
