Conversation: “Creative processes, the director/actors relationship.”

The speaker, Alejandro Radawski, will explore the creative processes and the director/actors relationship, based on his experience working with actors in Argentina, Estonia and other locations.

Improvisation theater workshop

The basic concepts of improvisation will be seen, as a means of stage creation. Through a battery of exercises, particular characters and extra everyday scenes will be created.

Organic and playful acting technique for theater, NOT psychological. Structure elements of realism: conflict, action, text, character.

– Participants must bring a memorized text of any genre between two and four lines.
– All participants must dress in vintage clothing from the 40s, 50s, 60s or similar and/or formal.

About Alejandro Radawski, Argentine writer/director who will present this talk and workshop.

Alejandro Radawski is a dynamic figure of Argentinian-Polish heritage, celebrated as a theater and film director, writer, and visual artist. Armed with dual Master’s Degrees in Performing Arts and Journalism, Radawski seamlessly blends academic prowess with creative vision. Stationed at the esteemed Polish National Theater “Stary Teatr” in Krakow, he orchestrates compelling narratives as a director, playwright, and set designer, leaving an indelible mark on the global artistic stage.

His influence transcends borders, with notable engagements spanning Argentina, Finland, Estonia, Italy, France, and Germany. In 2024, Radawski clinched a prestigious Visual Artist and Playwriting residency at Künstlerhaus Lukas in Ahrenshoop, Germany, reaffirming his international acclaim.

Radawski’s ingenuity shines in his directorial endeavors, including an upcoming adaptation of Ibsen’s “A Doll’s House” in Rome. His groundbreaking works, such as “Suremas Sinust” and “The Flesh Fight,” have enraptured audiences worldwide, earning him accolades, including a coveted residency at The National Center of Writers of France “La Chartreuse” de Villeneuve lez Avignon in 2022.
