Food Film Festival – A journey of flavours and stories

The Food Film Festival is a unique cultural event that brings inspiring food stories and documentaries from around the world to the big screen. This year, the festival is part of Iberofest and the opening film of the programme is a Spanish food film.

‘Buda jumped over the wall’ is a visually stunning and emotionally rich documentary that follows Michelin-starred Spanish chef David Yárnozi as he balances life and taste between his two restaurants, Molino de Urdániz in Navarre and its near-identical counterpart in Taipei. The film explores how David replicates his culinary vision across the continent, while drawing inspiration from Taiwan’s vibrant cuisine, local ingredients and colleagues – notably the three-star Kai Host. A poetic, mouth-watering journey dedicated to cultural exchange, culinary excellence and the passion behind every plate.
